New Year’s Eve Celebration on Rovinj’s Main Square

This year’s New Year’s Eve celebration welcoming 2026, organized by the Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board, was held on Rovinj’s main town square. The program began at 8:30 p.m. with the energetic Grooversi, who delighted the audience during their two-hour performance. After them, the legendary band Plavi Orkestar took the stage, and everyone present—young and old alike—sang along to their greatest hits. Exactly at midnight, the program host Ronald Braus led the large crowd into the New Year 2026 with the traditional countdown. After extending New Year’s greetings to all attendees, “Plavci” continued to entertain the audience with their well-known hits. The evening’s festivities then carried on with DJ Nikola z Kukurini in the Advent zone.
