Rovinj Confirms Top-Tier Quality in 2025

The IQM Destination Rovinj project, which focuses on integrated quality management through the collection and analysis of guest reviews, has been implemented by the Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board since 2023 in cooperation with the company Feel IQM. The project enables the destination to further enhance its offer and adapt to visitors’ needs, while continuously monitoring guest satisfaction and managing the destination’s online reputation. An excellent overall guest satisfaction score of 91/100, based on 47,982 reviews, along with a 1% increase in quality compared to the previous year, shows that Rovinj continues to attract numerous visitors thanks to its high-quality tourism offer.
A particularly notable achievement is the review response rate of 66%, confirming that stakeholders are actively managing their online reputation. Currently, 133 stakeholders from various segments of the tourism offer in Rovinj regularly receive guest satisfaction reports, enabling continuous performance monitoring and timely responses.
Hotels achieve an exceptionally high score of 93/100, with a quality increase of almost 1%. The review response rate stands at 95%, indicating an outstanding level of engagement in guest communication. Guests most frequently highlight service quality (88/100).
Campsites record a 2% increase in quality compared to the previous year, with an overall score of 87/100. Improvements are evident across all key segments—service, cleanliness, and facilities—demonstrating a comprehensive approach to raising standards. Campsites also maintain a very high review response rate of 92%.
Hospitality establishments report a growth of almost 2%, with an overall score of 91/100. Guests particularly praise the ambience (93/100) and service (92/100), while food quality receives a score of 86/100.
Private accommodation achieves a score of 90/100, with the friendliness and hospitality of hosts remaining the strongest feature at 95/100. An increase in the review response rate is also evident, confirming growing awareness of the importance of communication.
Attractions achieve an exceptionally high score of 96/100, along with a 36% increase in the number of reviews compared to the previous year, clearly indicating a growing interest among guests in sharing their experiences. Beaches receive a score of 86/100, also with a 15% increase in the number of reviews.
During 2025, stakeholders were offered the opportunity to create individual marketing analyses of their online presence, with the option of personalized consulting, providing additional support in improving digital visibility and more effective presentation of their offerings.
These results demonstrate that Rovinj, through its professionalism, persistence, continuous training of tourism employees, uniqueness of its offer, and quality improvements across all tourism segments, successfully withstands major changes in the tourism market.
