Selected Director of the Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board

In accordance with the Act on Tourist Boards and the Promotion of Croatian Tourism, as well as the Statute of the Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board, the Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board published a public call on 16 March 2026 for the selection and appointment of the Director of the Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board, following the expiration of the mandate of long-serving Director Odete Sapač, who is also retiring.
After reviewing the submitted applications and conducting interviews with candidates who met the requirements of the public call, the Tourist Board Council of the Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board, at its session held on 7 May 2026, adopted the Decision appointing Sandra Barač Miftarević as Director of the Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board for a four-year term beginning on 1 June.
In accordance with the legal procedure, the process of issuing the Decision by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports is currently underway, after which the public call procedure will be formally concluded.
