According to data from the eVisitor system, from January 1 to May 31, 2026, Rovinj recorded 751,584 overnight stays and 206,453 arrivals, representing an 11% increase in overnight stays and an 8% increase in arrivals compared to the same period last year.
The highest number of overnight stays during this period was generated by German visitors, accounting for 26% of total overnight stays (55% more than in the same period last year), followed by domestic guests with a 16% share (2% less than in the same period last year), Austrian visitors with a 15% share (1% less than in the same period last year), Slovenian visitors with a 13% share (9% more than in the same period last year), and visitors from Serbia with a 6% share (12% less than in the same period last year).
By accommodation type, the majority of overnight stays were recorded in hotels (42%), followed by campsites (32%), private accommodation (15%), and tourist resorts (8%).
Currently, 24,303 registered guests are staying in our destination, which is 11% more than on the same day last year. The largest numbers of guests are from Germany, Italy, and Austria.
