Grand Park Hotel Rovinj Among the Recipients of Prestigious MICHELIN Key Distinction
13.10.2025
To mark its 125th anniversary, the MICHELIN Guide has introduced a new global standard of excellence in hospitality by launching the MICHELIN Key distinction, which reflects top-tier quality and unique hospitality in hotels around the world. Among the 2,457 awarded hotels, as many as 10 are from Croatia, reaffirming the country’s position as a high-quality tourist destination that offers unique experiences to guests from all over the world. One of the Croatian hotels featured in the new MICHELIN Guide selection is the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj.
The MICHELIN Key distinctions are awarded based on five key criteria: excellence in architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, authenticity and character of the hotel, value for money, and contribution to the local community.
“These special MICHELIN Guide recognitions represent a great achievement for Croatian tourism and are a strong indicator of the high standard of our hotels. It’s truly encouraging that the hotels are recognized not only for their luxury but also for their unique character, authenticity, and contribution to the local community. In this way, we further inspire guests to explore the diverse accommodation offerings across our country. I am confident that the MICHELIN Key distinction will significantly boost the visibility and competitiveness of Croatia as an attractive tourist destination on the global market, one that can proudly offer excellent premium services—not only in accommodation but also in the wide variety of tourism products we provide,” said Kristjan Staničić, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board.
