Another Night of St. Lawrence Held in Rovinj

The Tourist Board of the City of Rovinj-Rovigno organized another edition of the event called Night of St. Lawrence on Saturday, August 9. To emphasize the romantic atmosphere throughout the evening, the city lights along the waterfront were turned off and replaced with torch lighting for the occasion, while many restaurant terraces were lit by candlelight. In support of this, the Tourist Board provided hospitality venues along the city’s waterfront with around 1,600 decorative candles, encouraging them to enhance the experience of a night under the stars by creating a fitting ambiance.
The romantic charm of Rovinj was further enhanced by an entertainment program featuring romantic music at various points in the city, as well as light effects that illuminated the main city square.
The event program began with a promenade walk and a dance performance by the members of the Roxanne dance group, who opened the event by dancing to the enchanting composition Interstellar by the renowned Hans Zimmer.
The Night of St. Lawrence program started at 9:00 PM, featuring the following performers at various locations:
- Shipyard Square – Vaya con Dinos
- A. Rismondo Waterfront – Duo Sugar Notes
- Marshal Tito Square – Music (K)Nights / Vanna
- Riviera Square (on a boat) – KUD-SAC “Marco Garbin” / Nuove Quattro Colonne / Viècia Ruveîgno
- Grisia Street – Klapa Valdibora
- St. Euphemia Church Plateau – Duo Gracijan & Davor Terzić
