CNN Lists Rovinj among the 13 Europe"s Hidden Hot Spots

U.S. TV network CNN listed Rovinj as one of the 13 Europe’s hidden hot spots. Besides Rovinj, the list of Europe"s hidden hot spots includes: Matera (Italy), Fermanagh Lakelands (Northern Island), Muhu Island (Estonia), Matarranya Region (Spain), Lewis Island (Scotland), Île de Noirmoutier (France), Lodz (Poland), Bergen (the Netherlands), Ikaria (Greece), East Anglia (United Kingdom), Ticino (Switzerland) and Formentera (Spain). According to the words of the author, it is hard to reach the mentioned hidden hot spots yet the reward is fantastic – visitors have an opportunity to get familiar with communities that still foster their local traditions.
Rovinj has been described as a community representing the best of Tuscany and Venice rolled into one with the atmosphere of days gone by.
