Opening of the New Hotel Amarin

On August 18th, 2016 a new family hotel named Amarin was opened in Rovinj. It is owned by a hotel company Maistra d.d. and is located on the north-west side of Rovinj, just a few meters from the sea. The hotel features 280 accommodation units with views of the sea and the old Rovinj city core, and it can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. A large part of the offer is geared towards families with children. Most of the rooms have the so-called family rooms, that is, rooms with two beds that are connected by doors thereby facilitating communication between guests and their children, but also giving them privacy. In addition to numerous playgrounds and playrooms created for the needs of different age groups, both the kids and the grownups also have at their disposal seven indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a wellness and a spa zone of 1,500 meters squared, six gastro facilities with a special menu for the youngest guests and many other features making the hotel unique in this area. The construction started in September of last year with the demolition of the old hotel and the Valdaliso Camp. The value of the new hotel is 300 million HRK and it represents the greatest investment in Istrian tourism made this year, but also an investment that once again confirmed the dedication of Adris and Maistra to the development of superb tourism offer and strengthening of the reputation of Rovinj as a destination.
