Take a tour of Rovinj with 3D glasses

ATTRACTIVE NEW ROVINJ TOWN GUIDE

As of today, the town of Rovinj and its Tourist Board offer yet another new and attractive promotional catalogue, unique in the country by its content and the manner of presenting the town’s historical, natural and cultural sights. Rovinj is the first Croatian town to boast a tourist information catalogue in which the seven carefully selected town motives are viewed using 3D glasses, i.e. the red and blue foils which make it possible for the viewer to perceive the depth of the photo.
The catalogue entitled Romantic Mediterranean Rovinj-Rovigno 3D, which presents seven impressive town motives: the port, the main town square, the Balbi"s Arch, the Church of St. Euphemia (the town"s patron saint), the batana (Rovinj’s traditional boat type), the castle located on the nearby islet of St. Andrew and the Golden Cape (Zlatni rt), the town’s green lungs, is a result of a cooperation between two entrepreneurs, namely Sanja Ignjatić and Alice Tosenberger, and employees of Rovinj’s Tourist Board who recognized this concept as a tourist product and, after selecting the photographs and writing the related texts and information, printed a thousand copies of it. In addition to the photos and the related content, the Romantic Mediterranean Rovinj-Rovigno 3D catalogue also contains a mini map with instructions on how to get to the desired, i.e. presented location. Except by its content, the catalogue also attracts by its folded design (the form of a letter) and its soft covers. This new tourist product/souvenir can be obtained exclusively at the town’s Tourist Board office, and solely for promotional purposes.
