First Guided Tour of the Town – “Feel the Breeze of Rovinj“

On Tuesday, 11th August 2020, the first guided tour of Rovinj was organized within the framework of the “Feel the Breeze of Rovinj” project. The tour was taken by Croatian, English, German, and Italian tourists, and led by licensed tour guides who guided the participants in Croatian, German, and English languages.

The tour included a stroll along the old town streets, with short stops at points of interest: Garibaldi Street, a family shoe workshop in Zdenac Street, Bregovita Street, the viewpoint, Church of St. Euphemia with a tour of its interior, Grisia Street, Porečka Street, Garzotto Street, Veli Trg, Vrata Pod Zidom Street, the town port, Trg m. Tita, the town clock, and Museum of the Town of Rovinj-Rovigno with a tour of its exhibits. The participants, at the end of the tour, also had the opportunity to sample renowned Rovinj wines, olive oils, cheeses, and Istrian supa at the Agrorovinj Association’s tasting room on Augusto Ferri Street. The presentation was held, in the name of Agrorovinj Association, by Kristian Damijanić, President of the Association, with the help of Anton Fariš, a Member of the Association.

Guided tours will take place each Tuesday, starting at 9:30 a.m., until October, and are free for all.
