The Sete Sois Sete Luas Festival, a renowned international cultural project that promotes dialogue among the peoples of the Mediterranean and the Portuguese and Creole-speaking world, was held once again this year in Rovinj with two unforgettable evenings dedicated to multiculturalism and the meeting of different musical traditions.
The festival began on Wednesday, July 9th, on the Summer Terrace of the Pino Budicin Community of Italian with a concert by the LUSO 7LUAS BAND, six musicians from Brazil, Cape Verde, France, Italy, Portugal, and the island of La Réunion.
On the second evening, the festival was opened on the main town square by LA RÉUNION KREOL 7S7L BAND, a production that brings the Creole rhythms of La Réunion island to Europe, and whose sounds were brought to life through energy and emotion.
At 10:00 PM, the grand finale began with GUSTAFI, the legendary Istrian band, who closed in superb style this year’s Festival with their distinctive sound.
