Rovinj Reaches Its 3 Millionth Overnight Stay

According to data from the eVisitor system, on Friday, August 15, 2025, Rovinj recorded its 3 millionth overnight stay — four days earlier than last year. From the beginning of the year until today, the number of overnight stays has increased by 4% compared to the same period last year. The number of arrivals stands at 544,233, which is also a 5% increase compared to last year.
The highest number of overnight stays in this period was made by German guests, accounting for 29% of the total, although this represents a 1% decrease. Austrians accounted for 14%, with a 3% decrease. Domestic guests made up 6% of overnight stays, showing an 18% increase. Dutch tourists also accounted for 6%, with a 2% decrease, while Italian guests also made up 6% — the same as last year.
The majority of overnight stays were in campsites, with a 45% share, followed by private accommodation with 22%, hotels with 20%, and tourist resorts with 10%.
Currently, 36,689 guests are staying in our destination, which is at the same level as last year, mostly from Germany, Italy, and Austria.
