Rovinj Reaches 4 Million Overnight Stays

According to data from the eVisitor system, on September 19, 2025, the Rovinj area recorded its 4 millionth overnight stay—eleven days earlier compared to last year. From the beginning of the year until today, compared to the same period last year, the number of overnight stays has increased by 4%, and the number of arrivals, which stands at 673,700, is up by 5% compared to last year.
The highest number of overnight stays during this period came from German tourists, accounting for 33% (an increase of 3% compared to the same period last year), followed by Austrians with 14% (a decrease of 2%), Italians with 6% (an increase of 1%), the Dutch with 5% (a decrease of 2%), and domestic guests with 5% (an increase of 18%).
By type of accommodation, the most overnight stays were recorded in campsites (47%), followed by private accommodation (22%), hotels (18%), and tourist resorts (10%).
Currently, there are 19,995 registered guests in our destination (6% more than on the same day last year), mostly from Germany, Austria, and Poland.
