Fantasies, rhapsodies and sonatas
The clarinet’s special characteristic is its wide range of tones and volume – from a barely audible to a very piercing sound, especially in high tones. Its tone is rich and expressive, suitable for diverse musical readings. We will get to know its technical characteristics through its close cooperation with a piano, when the clarinet shows its best characteristics in classical forms.
