International contest and choir festival
The International Choir Festival CHORUS INSIDE is a prestigious cultural event that is realized annually in five countries: Croatia, Spain, Italy, Russia and Hungary. The idea connects the passion for music and singing with the universal values of friendship and solidarity.
Choirs, klape (traditional a cappella choirs) and vocal soloists from Croatia and abroad perform on this festival. The competition is divided into different categories: polyphonic music, traditional folk music, lyrical music, pop, jazz and gospel.
The opening ceremony of the festival will be on Friday, August 30 at the Church of St. Euphemia at 8 pm, after the parade of all participants.
The competition part of the festival will take place on August 31st at the Adris Concert Hall. The jury will be chaired by renowned music educator and conductor from Italy, maestro Mauro Marchetti. Other members of the jury will be prominent music educator from Moldova, maestro Elena Marian, while Croatia will be represented by music educator and composer Branko Radić.
