“Sunken Boats” - exhibition Cycle

Zambratija Exhibition - The prehistoric sewn boat is one of the four collective traveling exhibitions under the collective title “Sunken Boats”. Visitors will be able to view the boat’s structure found in the eponymous bay near Umag. This is the oldest example of a fully sewn boat ever found in the Mediterranean. The remains of the boat were studied in the shallows and conserved in the length of 6.7 meters and width of 1.6 meters, and date from somewhere between the last quarter of the 12th and the last quarter of the 10th century BC. The exhibition will remain open until the end of September.
