Exhibition: Fearless Women
The traveling group exhibition "Fearless Women" is based on the books "Stories of Fearless Croatian Women" (2019) by Tatjana Barat and "Icons: Fearless Women Who Changed Croatia" (2020) by Rosie Kugli published by Iris Illyrica Publishing House, edited by Ivana Glavaš Bakija. The exhibition brings together a total of 100 illustrations by important women from Croatian history and the present, illustrated by 23 Croatian illustrators. It is both an artistic and a literary story with an emphasis on the educational character of the entire project. The organizers of the exhibition are the curator, art historian and museologist Sonja Švec Španjol and the illustrator Željka Mezić, who are also the editors of the accompanying catalog of the exhibition.
At the exhibition, visitors will be able to see as many as 100 illustrations of important women from Croatia's past and present illustrated by famous Croatian illustrators: Nina Iris Bešlić, Vanda Čižmek, Sonja Gašperov, Ivana Guljašević Kuman, Marsela Hajdinjak, Branka Holingsworth Nara, Mirela Ivanković Bielen, Helena , Marijana Jelić, Irena Jukić Pranjić, Ana Kadoić, Helena Klakočar, Lana Ključarić, Hana Lukas Midžić, Željka Mezić, Margareta Peršić, Andrea Petrlik Huseinović, Sanja Pribić, Nataša Rašović Bodiš, Sanja Rešček Ramljak, Irena Sophia, Sanja Šantak and Manuela Vladić Maštruko.
