Play and musical
The Martišnjak z Muštaci Association in collaboration with the Ulysses Theater presents its work and program with the play "Concert for spoons and guitar", followed by the musical group "I love Broadway" and a guest appearance by the British singer Simon Marlow.
Žlice & Guitar (spoons & guitar) are a duo that, with the help of the sounds of kitchen spoons, guitar and mandolin, and a wacky performance, talk about their life in a somewhat troubadour-like way through poetry set to music, and behind their twisted performance is a message of reason. Each song has its own story and background and no matter how fluffy and fun they sound, each one has a deep message about the world we live in. It is an author's project and an engaging performance in which Mario Jovev and Nikola Nedić talk in an extremely witty and satirical way about the problems in society that surround us every day. Although they do it in an attractive and charming way, the lyrics of their songs strike at the very core of serious problems such as corruption, crime, capitalism and the emigration of young people from Croatia, while also touching on topics from everyday life.
Tickets will be on sale on the day of the performance and the ticket price is 10 euros.
