Let's change the face of men's health
The association Martišnjak z muštaci is the first association in the Republic of Croatia created in the wake of the global public health initiative - Movember. The association wants to encourage men to go for an examination at least once a year, to adopt healthier lifestyle habits and to talk about health problems with their relatives, especially in order to find out about the medical history within their family. Our fathers, brothers, friends, partners face a serious health crisis caused by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and depression, and little or nothing is known or talked about... Unfortunately, we cannot afford the luxury of not talking about it!
The goal is to change the face of men's health and help men live healthier, happier and longer lives!
All citizens and guests are invited to enhance the sports and recreational event "Let's change the face of men's health" with their presence, where everyone will walk and ride a bike together as a sign of support for this initiative. Anyone can participate in the program regardless of age.
SPORTS AND RECREATION PROGRAM:
09:30 - Gathering at the city market
10:15 - Departure of cyclists towards Cuvi bay
10:30 - Departure of pedestrians towards Cuvi bay
12:00 - Expected arrival at the finish line for pedestrians and cyclists (Cuvi bay)
12:15 - Distribution of t-shirts, water, fruit, hot tea and pumpkin strudel and socializing with DJ SoChic
