One of the most significant musical predecessors of the Illyrian movement, Ferdo Wiesner Livadić, composed numerous works for voice and piano. The singer recorded his most successful solo songs on a CD dedicated entirely to his vocal works. He composed the first patriotic song to the text of Ljudevit Gaj: Croatia has not yet perished while we live... and the most important Istrian patriot Antonio Smareglia (b. 1854 in Pula) celebrates his 170th birth anniversary.
