25th St. Euphemia swimming marathon
Swimming marathon on the occasion of the celebration of St. Eufemia, patroness of the city of Rovinj-Rovigno
The swimming marathon is traditionally held every year on the second Saturday of September and gathers swimmers from swimming clubs, swimmers from distance swimming clubs and recreational swimmers.
The contestants swim in the beautiful and safe waters of the Valdaliso bay, surrounded by the beautiful beaches of the Family Hotel Amarin, the city beach of Figarola and the sunny, pebbly beaches of the Special Hospital for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation "Martin Horvat" Rovinj-Rovigno, where is the start and finish of two races: Figarola at 3000 meters and Mala Figarola at 1500 meters. Every true lover of swimming, sports and recreation will enjoy this beautiful, blue, clean and clear sea.
Starting this year, for the first time, a 50 m Figarolica children's race has been organized, the start of which will be before the marathon, and for which there is no registration fee.
Swimming Marathon St. Eufemia is not just a competition, it is an opportunity to show respect for sports, the sea and beautiful Rovinj.
