In cooperation with opera singer Ronald Braus, the Tourist Association of the City of Rovinj organizes the Ronald Braus and Guests Concert on Assumption Day each year. This year's concert, the sixth in a row, held in the most romantic location in the city, in the Baron Hueterott's Castle situated on the nearby island of St. Andrew, was organized in the memory of the prematurely deceased Rovinj singer Liliana Budicin Manestar. The concert featured performances by musicians and singers who had the pleasure and honor of singing with her and knowing her personally.
The concert evening dedicated in honor of the ‘Rovinj Snowwhite’ was opened by Višnja Korbar. After two hours of excellent music, the evening was ended by the performance of the magnificent Zdenka Kovačićek. Besides these two great singers, beautiful vocal performances were also given by Mirko Cetinski, Biba Benussi, Oriana Vozila, Tonči Kljaković, Ronald Braus, Antonija Šola, and the excellent Volosko A Capella Vocal ensemble from Volosko. The instrumental accompaniment was provided by the famous musicians Mario Bogliun, Vlado Benussi and Branko Bogunović Pif. The evening dedicated to the memory of the most beautiful voice of Rovinj, the Rovinj nightingale, ended with a reception and promotion of the Matošević and Grita wines. Besides the organizers, the City of Rovinj and the Maistra Travel Agency supported the event.
