A big group of Italian guests, among whom over hundred journalists and owners of travel and tourist agencies from the other side of the Adriatic, arrived at the Big Peer in Rovinj last Saturday with catamaran „Tomas Edison“.

A big group of Italian guests, among whom over hundred journalists and owners of travel and tourist agencies from the other side of the Adriatic, arrived at the Big Peer in Rovinj last Saturday with catamaran „Tomas Edison“.
The Italian guests were the advance party of all those who will be arriving to Rovinj on Fridays and Sundays from Ravenna from 15 June until 15 September thanks to organization by agency „Emilia Romagnia lines“. Catamaran can seat 280 persons and in only two hours the ferry links two neighboring and friendly coasts.
The guests from Italy were greeted by representatives from Rovinj, offered local sweets and drinks, promotional material and a performance by a folk group „Batana“.
On behalf of the Town of Rovinj, they were welcomed by Deputy Mayor Marino Budicin, by Odete Sapač on behalf of the Tourist Board and by Director of the Port Authority Donald Schiozzi.
