Besides the environmental actions linked with the preparation of the tourist season, the Tourist community employees, backed by the expert monitoring of the agronomist Barbara Matošović Talajić, used the International day of the planet Earth to donate its citizens with free flowering plants.
In total three thousands flowering plants that were presented, out which the most wanted ones were the summer plants - begonias, lobelias, verbenas and geraniums, and of the permanent plants – lavender, santolina and plectrantus.
Despite the distribution of an envying number of flowering plants, the citizens of Rovinj, whose balconies and gardens are richer in flowers every year, the credit for which is also due to Tourist community and the years-long actions of flowers donations, did not need a lot of time to empty the two completely full stands and take their gentle ornamental little plant within ten minutes.
