An exhibition of paintings by Labin academic painter Ljiljana Vlačić opened at the Native Museum of the City of Rovinj.
The artist presented herself with fifty artworks, mainly drawings and oil paintings made in the period from 1996, when she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, to this year, when her latest works were created.
All the exhibited paintings are characterized by strong artistic expression, richness of color and recognizable signature. They are also characterized by the message they convey, either in the form of a simple word or a sentence that, together with the characteristic colors, becomes a recognizable author's signature.
The paintings are also a form of intimate journals in which the artists speaks about her perception of love, the persons dear to her, and the beauty that surrounds her.
Sometimes she paints drops of rain, the wind or the sky with shiny stars… and sometimes only her constellations of dreams, wishes and volitions.
