In case of rain the concert will be postponed until the next day.

The best Croatian opera divas, soprano Sandra Bagarić and mezzo-soprano Martina Tomčić, staged a promotion of their first joint pop-opera album entitled the ‘Marmalade Theatre,’ in a newly presented venue – the lawn of the Eden Hotel. The promotion of the album, containing thirteen popular arias from Croatian and world famous operas, operettas, musicals and canzone, was staged under the joint title of BelCante, with support of the Croatian Television Show Orchestra, conducted by Zdravko Šljivac.

During the performance, the audience that gathered in impressive multitudes, at this concert where everybody was trying to find that extra seat, enjoyed in renditions of evergreen compositions such as ‘O Sole Mio,’ ‘Barcarolle,’ ‘Ave Maria’ etc., while, thanks to encores, they also won the opportunity to hear a great interpretation of a Turandot aria ‘Nessun Dorma’ by Giacomo Puccini, twice. The BelCante concert was organised by the Town Tourist Board in cooperation with ‘Maistra.’ According to the Tourist Board Director, Odeta Sapač, apart from quality music, they also wanted to promote a new open stage by the Eden Hotel.
