Eco-action - Glanc, glanc, luštro, čisto ma će biti lipo misto

Traditionally, the employees of the Tourist Board of the Town of Rovinj this year too gave flowers to their fellow citizens, as part of the ecological campaign “Let My Istria Shine” and the project “I Love Croatia”.
"Glanc, glanc, luštro, čisto ma će biti lipo misto" eco-action on which occasion 1500 free seedlings of lavender, rosemary, salvia, santolina, verbena, pelargonium, surfinium and young summer plants will be distributed to citizens.

This flower campaign, at the plateau in front of the Board office, attracted a large number of green and flowery shrub buffs. Rovinj folk will use the flowers this time too to adorn their balconies, yards and gardens. All in all, 1,500 saplings of lavender, rosemary, sage, santolina, verbena, geranium, surfinia and seasonal plants such as begonia, petunia and impatiens were given as presents.
This campaign, for a decade now being undertaken under the initiative of the Rovinj Tourist Board, signalled the start of the new tourist season as well, in a symbolic and unique manner.
