As he had promised to gathered crowd the night earlier, Paul Young held a concert in the central square of Rovinj. This was a sort of a reminder of his hits which had the world-famous musician and singer in the limelight during the eighties and nineties. Having lit their mobile phone screens and exhibiting obvious liking for their idol, the audience were able to hear his greatest hits, starting from the blockbusters “Every Time You Go Away”, “Come Back and Stay”, “Love Of The Common People” to “Senza una donna”, the tune he recorded cooperating with the Italian singer Zucchero.

Young had to sing two encores, wrapping the concert up with Prince’s “Kiss”. During the performance, the British singer communicated with the audience, even went off the stage and into the crowd during part of the rendition of the hit “Every Time You Go Away“, and finally did a slow dance with backing vocals – which made the crowd go absolutely wild.

The singer himself did not hide enthusiasm for Rovinj and the cordial audience that gathered in multitudes, so he announced he would soon visit the town of St Euphemia, where he said he felt great – and ate even better, with members of his family. The concert by Paul Young lasted for an hour and a half, after which the home Dream Project Band played.

We should remind that the performances had been announced for the Rovinj night and were subsequently postponed for the night to follow, due to rain and wind. This caused the audience to enjoy not two exciting nights as planned, but three. The first was labelled by fishermen tradition, the second by fireworks and rain, and the third, final one – by home, thrilling musicians of the Dream Project and renowned Paul Young and his band.
