Cultural exchange, expanding the territory for art, pushing boundaries in international activities - all that, and much more, was yielded by Artexchange, the annual Rovinj art fair. Artexchange is a meeting place for several dozen galleries from various countries, but also a platform for the presentation of private collections which, far from public gaze, often hide some true examples of art treasure.
Apart from promoting authors, galleries and expertise, affirming the passion for beauty and values of artistic creation, the event has also attempted to establish an efficient art market, in order to facilitate buying and selling of artwork. Artexchange is one of the leading Istrian cultural events in May.
