A three-day flower, decorative furniture and unique jewelry fair called the Rovinj Flower Story was held for the first time in the town of St. Euphemia. The fair, featuring over five hundred varieties of summer plants, decorative and evergreen plants, bonsai trees and bushes, and aromatic and healing herbs, was organized by the Pula company Adria Expo in cooperation with the Town, Maistra and the Town Tourist Board.
The central square, Trg Maršala Tita, was filled with the intoxicating aroma of the flowers, and the black surface of the square was temporarily covered by the most beautiful carpet consisting of colorful flowers.
The purpose of the flower event was to assemble the manufacturers, traders, buyers and tourist employees in one place, in order to indicate the significance of the necessary environmental care and protection through common education and three days spent in each other’s company.
In addition to flowers, the visitors had a chance to see furniture made of rattan and exotic wood, unique jewelry, and receive free gardening advice or obtain professional literature about plant care.
The fair also featured flower and flower arrangement shows, presentations of fruit dishes and pastries, as well as some music programs. The fashion show was particularly interesting – the authors dressed beautiful models in flower-pattern dresses and decorated them with jewelry and fashion accessories, also inspired by the gentle and intoxicating flower petals.
“Art and Creation” is the title of the next fair to be held in Rovinj from 25 to 28 May, also on Trg Maršala Tita.
