Bruno Mascarelli – the winner of the 47th Grisija exhibition
Every second Sunday in August, the famous street of Rovinj, Grisija, transforms into the largest art exhibition on the Mediterranean. This August, Grisija was again the venue of this amazing exhibition which gathered works of 195 artists including academic painters, students of art academies, amateur painters and children.
Nonetheless, among the bunch of exhibits the Evaluation committee consisting of Branka Benčić, Feđa Gavrilović and Mirjana Paula Ferenčić, awarded the first prize (4 500 kuna and a prosciutto) to a doyen of Rovinj painting, Bruno Mascarelli, and the second prize (4 500 kuna and a cheese) was presented to an artist Danilo Dučak. Boris Bućan took the third prize, which includes the right to a solo exhibition. Sponsors awards, also in the amount of 4500 kuna, were won by Ivana Koren, whose work is bought by hotel company Maistra, Marko Zuban (Arh Studio) and Branko Kolarić (Esel d.o.o.).
