Songs for soloists by Serbian and Croatian classical music composers, Neapolitan songs and renowned Italian arias, as well as celebrated Chopin's compositions for piano will be performed. A special surprise is the premiere of “Koktel svita”, a composition for four hands which will, after its premiere in Belgrade, be performed for the first time in Croatia – here, in Rovinj. By performing the traditional and modern classical repertoire, the artists’ intention is to present the universal art heritage, while by playing compositions of Balkan authors they make evident the place the music from this region occupies in the tradition of world music and in the tendencies of its development.
