A great number of fans of Vlatko Stefanovski, leader of the one-time extremely popular Macedonian band “Leb i sol”, and professor Miroslav Tadic, assembled on Tuesday evening on the Monte summer stage to enjoy the duo’s second joint performance in Rovinj.
Probably the most famous guitar duo from Former Yugoslavia, Stefanovski and Tadic chose for this occasion a repertoire of songs based on “Krushevo”, their joint studio album. Their performance of Macedonian folk song “Jovano, Jovanke” won special ovations in the audience.
During the acoustic guitar performance which lasted for an hour and a half in the completely packed auditorium, the duo also performed some of the songs from the latest album called “Tretja majka” which will be released soon.
The concert of these two guitar virtuosos was an exceptional music event dedicated to the traditional Macedonian song. Stefanovski and Tadic, two music experts with a recognizable oriental expression, gave a modern touch to Macedonian music, and a high quality performance.
