Besides the fireworks show, the final night of the Rovinj Night Festivities was marked by the presence of international dance star Alexie, known as the winner of the 53rd Sanremo Music Festival, a festival of Italian music.
This petite woman, of rich and strong voice, was discovered at the 52nd Sanremo Music Festival when she sang Dimmi come winning second place. She came back a year later, in 2003, presenting her own song called Per Dire Di No, and won the famous festival.
The Italian diva completely charmed the Rovinj audience by her performances of the Sanremo hits. She presented herself to the audience, during a performance that lasted for almost two hours, with a blend of songs from her rich career, during which she has released twelve albums and sold more than eight million copies.
Besides the Italian singer, numerous other performers contributed to the good atmosphere.
The main stage was fired up by Kristijan Rahimovski, founder and lead singer of the Raspashow Band and the proud author of the hit Svaki dio srca mog, and Dream Projekt, a local band that raised the audience to their feet and made them dance with their performance and remakes of world hits.
The spectacular fireworks show in the sky above Rovinj was more beautiful than ever, especially in its final moments when the golden threads lit up the night sky above the heads of thousands of tourists and local people.

The spots offering the best view were searched for hours before the show. As usual, the sky was not observed only from the square and the waterfront but also from the terraces of all open bars and restaurants, from the Park Hotel, the Monte Beach, the Shipyard Square, as well as from boats, cars, tree tops etc. The magical dance of flickering sparks was this time accompanied by the sounds of Pink Floyd’s Shine on You Crazy Diamond.
Numerous old people of Rovinj, who remember all the fireworks shows organized so far, said that this one was one of the most beautiful shows in a more than 20-year-old tradition, concluding that it is rightfully called the most beautiful one in the Adriatic.
Let us remind you, the tourism workers created this magnificent event, which is organized at the end of the season, to thank their visitors in a very conspicuous way for choosing Rovinj as their destination and send the summer off.
