Even the youngest Rovinj citizens, children from the Marigold Kindergarten and Nursery (Dječji vrtić i jaslice Neven), participated in the spring planting of flowers. The employees of the Tourist Association gave the youngest participants in this ecological campaign flower seedlings in various colors, from red and purple begonias, to white daisies and yellow merigolds.
The 'green' group planted the flowers in already prepared flowerbeds at the entrance to the kindergarten. Now, the little ‘marigolds’ (nevenčići) say they must be careful that the flowers have enough water and that mean people do not pluck them.
Besides flowers, the director of the Tourist Association presented the kindergarten staff and Sandra Orbanić, director of the Marigold Kindergarten and Nursery, with this year's eco-shirts displaying a message and the logo of the Tourist Association.
