As many as seven Istrian choirs: Vox Sipans from Umag, Dott. Silvio Fortuna from Višnjan, Željezničar from Roč, Mon Perin from Bale, and three Rovinj choirs, namely the choirs of HKD Franjo Glavinić and KUD Marco Garbin, and Rubino, a chamber choir, performed together at the 2nd Istrian Choir Festival held in Rovinj.
The main concert, during which all the choirs sang the Istrian hymn called Krasna zemljo, Istri mila together, and two songs from their respective repertoires each, was preceded by a mini concert cycle called Raspjevani Rovinj (The Singing Rovinj).
Occupying the city squares and attractive locations, the Istrian choirists attracted the applause and the sympathies of the audience with their songs and good interpretation. The 2nd Istrian Choir Festival was organized by the members of HKD Fran Glavinić.
