The 14th edition of the “Ronald Braus and guests” evening of entertainment and music took place on the island of St. Andrew. As usual, this August evening had something to offer to all of the numerous visitors of Rovinj’s most beautiful island –fashion shows, plays, operetta duets, dance performances, jazz and evergreen hits. Two songs from the mini album of the actress and singer Mila Elegović were performed for the first time ever. The singer sang the title song “Heart Thief” (“Kradljivica srca”) and the song “Coffee” (“Kava”).
The evening’s host, the opera singer Ronald Braus, besides singing a duet with Mila Elegović and the operetta singer Ljiljana Čokljat, also showed off his skills as a dancer by performing a quick step number with Ana Domišljanović, a professional dancer and his partner from the TV show “Dancing with the Stars”. The younger members of the audience enjoyed the fashion designs of Nikolina Poropat, a young designer who presented her collection “feeling fashion”, while the rest were entranced by the velvety voice of the artist Velimir Čokljat and his recital of poems. The local chamber choir “Rubino” set an excellent tone for the evening, while the mini concert of the Damir Kukuruzović Quartet was a true revelation. The surprise of the night was a guest from the golden generation of Croatian stars – Miro Ungar, who gave an impressive performance.
The evening, organized by the Tourist Board of the Town of Rovinj, was sponsored by the hotel company Maistra, responsible once again for the excellent selection and preparation of sweet and salty delicacies, while the famous Istrian winemakers – Tomaz, “Grota”, Matošević, Žigante and Degrassi provided the ample quantities of quality wine.
