Fortieth and jubilee Grisia, the biggest exhibition in the open, brought out the best authors.
The Jury comprised of M.A. Leonid Kovač, Prof. Ketrin Milićević Mijošek and Dario Sošić decided to award the first prize of the town Rovinj to the group of authors “ABS” comprised of Alan Alabić, Ivan Blažić and Ivan Skvrce, and the second prize to Vladimir Dodig Trokut.
The Country Museum’s award, that is, the prize of the organizer of the exhibition, was presented to Renata Pentek Šimonović and for design to Ivanka Ruk Ražov.
Along with these awards, it was awarded seven buy-off prizes. The work of art made by Martin and Đanino Božić was purchased for the town’s Tourist Community’s Office, the one made by Bruno Mascarelly for the Studio “EMMEMME”, the one made by Saša Vadanjel for “Arh Studio”, the one made of Nikola Ražov for the “Maistra”, the one made by Lada Luketić for the “Mirna”, the one made by Damir Stojnić for the “Kapitel” and the one made by Nataša Bezić for the “Milotić Gallery”.
Furthermore, this year Grisija will be remembered for the biggest number of exhibitionists. In total 330 participants of the most wonderful one-day exhibition exposed their works – paintings, installations, sculptures, every-day items, aesthetic items, jewellery, painted clothes, silk scarps and others.
The very best to Grisija for its fortieth birthday, to the exhibition that throughout its continuation and long endurance did make Rovinj famous as the town of painters and artists, wished on behalf of all Rovinj’s people Katarina Marić, the Manager of the Country Museum and Giovanni Sponza, the Mayor of the town Rovinj.
