This year's New Year's Eve celebration for 2024, organized by the Tourist Board of the City of Rovinj-Rovigno, took place at a new location in the city, specifically at the Boksiti parking lot, as the main city square is undergoing reconstruction.

The entertainment program kicked off at 8:30 PM with DJ For Shure, who set the mood and welcomed the audience with timeless hits.

This was followed by the long-awaited performance by the dynamic Bosnian-Herzegovinian band Dubioza Kolektiv. Their exhilarating 100-minute concert left a lasting impression on both locals and visitors, making this New Year's Eve celebration one of the most memorable to date. At midnight, following the traditional countdown, host Ronald Braus and band members raised a toast, extending their best wishes to everyone present. The concert then continued in a lively rhythm.

As the spectacular performance concluded, a vibrant laser show illuminated the stage from numerous points, captivating the diverse audience with a kaleidoscope of colours and music.

To bring the night to a close, DJ So Chic had the lively crowd dancing to the biggest hits spanning from the eighties to today.

During the five-day period from December 29 to January 2, the city hosted over 13,000 guests, marking a 7% increase compared to the same period last year. The majority of guests came from Austria, Croatia, and Slovenia, with the highest number recorded on New Year's Eve, December 31, when the city welcomed more than 4,000 guests.

In the month of December, there was an 8% increase in overnight stays compared to December of the previous year.
