Many interesting events took place in Rovinj as part of the celebration of St. Euphemia-s Day and Rovinj Town Day.

On Saturday, September 12, an underwater pilgrimage to a bronze replica of the statue of St. Euphemia in the sea near Rovinj was organized by the Rovinj-Rovigno Underwater Activities Club. On Tuesday, September 15, the 14th edition of the swimming marathon ‘From cape to cape - by sea and land", organized by the Rovinj-Rovigno Sports Association, was held under the motto "I love Rovinj and its beautiful coast and safe sea." For the first time since its launch, respecting protection measures due to Covid 19, the event was symbolically marked by several swimmers, while runners, walkers and cyclists did not participate. On the same day, also respecting the epidemiological measures in force, a solemn session of the Rovinj City Council was held.

As part of the celebration of St. Euphemia’s Day, on September 15 the last concert of the festival Rovinj Art & More was held in the Church of St. Euphemia. The program ‘Coronation Mass’ included L. Sorkočević's Symphony in D major II., Mozart's Laudate Dominum, Mascagni's Intermezzo and Mozart's Coronation Mass KV 317, performed by the mixed choir and orchestra of the Church of St. Blaž from Zagreb, under the baton of Ronald Braus. The concert was followed by a thank you speech from the organizers to those who contributed and supported this year's festival.

A fair called ‘Traditional crafts in the square - Artigianato in piazza’ was organized on St. Euphemia’s Day and Rovinj, September 16. As part of the fair from the early morning hours, the town waterfront was filled with 41 stands offering products of Istrian family farms and craftsmen such as fresh fruits and vegetables, olive oil and olive wood products, items made of clay and porcelain, dry and fresh flowers, leather belts, bags and wallets, lavender and other herbal products, cotton candy and chocolate sweets, homemade ice cream, honey, cheese, prosciutto and other delicacies. From the sea, citizens and guests were greeted by rowers and members of the Batana House Association in their boats - batanas with Latin sails. St. Euphemia’s Day was also celebrated in the Rovinj Heritage Museum, where the balcony at the front of the museum building was decorated in a special way, as the people of Rovinj used to do, and the entrance was free for all visitors.

It was especially solemn in the Church of St. Euphemia where the solemn Mass was performed by the Bishop emeritus of Poreč and Pula, Msgr. Ivan Milovan. The members of the Rovinj Brass Band contributed to the celebration by parading the town streets.
