Rich traditional Easter program in Rovinj

This year's Easter in Rovinj will be a perfect combination of various outdoor events, sports activities and fairs and music for all domestic and foreign guests.
From Tuesday 12 April to Friday 15 April, Pino Budicin waterfront will host the fourth spring fair of flowers and local products called Rovinjska rožica.
On Saturday, April 16, from 10:00, the Brass Band and Rovinj Majorettes will perform in a procession through the city centre.
At 17:00 on the same day starts Feel the breeze of Rovinj - a free city tour with a licensed tourist guide. The tour starts in front of the Tourist Board, and all those interested who want to participate can apply via email address info@rovinj-tourism.hr.
An Easter handicraft fair will be held on Pino Budicin waterfront, where numerous exhibitors will offer a variety of items and home-made products throughout the day.
On the newly renovated pedestrian and bicycle route Štrika Ferata (former railway branch Kanfanar - Rovinj), a recreational and gastronomic event Štrika Ferata Olive Oil Wine Walk will take place. In addition to enjoying a walk in good company and accompanied by a guide, at eight different points, participants will be able to taste local wines and olive oils and local products such as cod, prosciutto and cheese.
On Easter day, Sunday, April 17, Marshal Tito Square will host musical performances throughout the day:

In the morning, the House of Batana Association will give away traditionally decorated Easter eggs to the locals and guests of the city of Rovinj on Aldo Rismondo waterfront, accompanied by a special entertainment program.

On Easter Monday, the main town square will host the performances of:

11:30 - 13:00 Banda Latina
At 8:00 on Valdibora Square, all antique lovers will be able to visit the Small Fair of Antiques and Crafts, where at 11:00 the traditional Istrian skill - making Istrian baskets from willow twigs will be presented.
The Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board, in cooperation with the City of Rovinj, decorated the city's waterfront. Adjacent to the small pier is the installation of the Easter Bunny, which glows in the evening when the city lights come up. On the other side of the small pier is a large Easter egg with Easter motifs and a pomegranate - a traditional symbol of the city, painted by a member of the Rovinj association Faro11, Tanja Ranić Rovis, Professor of Fine Arts.
