Rovinj reaches one million in overnight stays

Today, on June 15, 2023, Rovinj was the first town in Croatia to record one million overnights this year (1,001,525 from the beginning of the year to this day), two days earlier compared to the year before.

Compared to 2022, this is a 7% increase in year-to-date results. The recorded overnights are a result of 231,664 arrivals, up by 7% compared to 2022 as well.

With a share of 35%, Germans account for the largest number of YTD overnights, followed by Austrians with a share of 18%, domestic guests with a share of 11%, Slovenes with a share of 8%, and Italians with a share of 4%.

Most overnight stays were recorded in camps (36%), followed by hotels (31%), private accommodation (18%), and tourist complexes (9%).

There are currently more than 22,000 visitors in our town, mainly from Germany (42%), Austria (20%), and Italy (5%).
