Rovinj reaches 2 million overnight stays

Today, on 22 July 2024, Rovinj reached two million overnight stays, a day later compared to last year.

From the beginning of the year to date, compared to 2023, that is 2% fewer overnight stays and a total of 383,089 arrivals is a 1% decrease from 2023.

German guests account for the largest number of overnight stays with 30%, followed by the Austrians with 17% and domestic guests with 7%. The Slovenians account for 6% and the Italians 5% overnight stays.

The largest number of overnight stays is recorded in campsites (42%), followed by hotels (24%), private accommodation (21%) and tourist resorts (10%).

At the moment there are 33,513 guests visiting our destination, most of them from Germany (30%), Austria (12%) and the Netherlands (8%).
