The Night of St. Lawrence in Rovinj

On Saturday, August 10th, yet another Night of St. Lawrence took place in Rovinj, with numerous concerts of romantic music being held in the town, on stages at various locations.
The event was opened by a promenade and a dance performance by the members of the Roxanne dance group, to the enchanting melody “Interstellar” of the famous composer Hans Zimmer. Their graceful yet strong movements symbolized the journey to overcome difficulties and find light and hope, comparable to stars emerging from the darkness.
The trio Vaya con Dinos performed on Trg brodogradilišta, the duo Sugar Notes on Obala Alda Rismonda, the Trio Viècia Ruveîgno could be heard on Trg Riviera, while the Art Society SAC-KUD “Marco Garbin” performed “Oûn cantoûso in San Banadìto“by Alessio Giuricin on Poljana sv. Benedikta. Music (K)Nights played on Baluota, and at the top of Grisia Street the visitors listened to the vocal group Klapa Valdibora, while Duo Gracijan & Davor Terzić performed on the plateau of St. Euphemia’s Church. The music program “Pearls of Vocal Literature” was performed by Patricia Žudetić, soprano, Luka Krulčić, tenor, and Sandro Vešligaj, piano, on the plateau of St. Francis’ Church.
