AJG-Bigband-Concert-Tour 2019 in favour of unicef
The AJG Bigband under the direction of Peter Reckenfelderbäumer is on great bigband concert tour in favour of Unicef from July 15th to July 27th, 2019. During the first two weeks of the summer vacation, the students of the Bigband will perform concerts together with their teacher Peter Reckenfelderbäumer and the teachers Heike Weber and Marion Uhlenbrock in public places in Germany, Austria and Croatia. Donations collected during concerts benefit unicef.

True to the motto "There's something for everyone!" Bigband will play music from different decades and genres. From the classic bigband sound and oldies to classics in the field of jazz and hits, the bigband will offer a colourful repertoire.

The long-standing cooperation of the AJG Bigband with Unicef was built up at the time by Clemens Gilhaus (former leader of the Bigband) and intensified over the years. So the concerts of this tour could be organized in close cooperation with the unicef local groups.

After the students, led by Peter Reckenfelderbäumer and Heike Weber, delighted more than 2,500 visitors with the Oldie Revue in June 2019, the 52 musicians are now on a grand tour through Germany, Austria and Croatia. In hopefully good weather, the concerts are given in public places or in larger beer gardens. Admission to all concerts is free, donations are welcome.
