Independent photography exhibition and promotion of the photo monograph: Ratko Mavar - Body Art Photo
In the exhibition space of the Photo Art Gallery of the Visual Arts Center "Batana" in Rovinj, Trg brodogradilišta 2, a solo exhibition of photographs entitled "Body Art Photo" by the famous Croatian photographer RATKO MAVAR will open on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 9 p.m. On our photography scene, he is one of the prominent authors of artistic photography who has been cultivating black and white nude photography in his work for many years, thus standing alongside our contemporary photographers specializing in this area of artistic expression.
Ratko Mavar has collected the results of his work on the Body Art Photo project in a photo monograph, which he published this year and which was first promoted in Zagreb at the LM Studio, and which will be promoted in Rovinj at the Photo Art Gallery Batana with the opening of the exhibition, on Saturday, July 12, 2025. The book will be presented and discussed by the author himself.
