Many sports manifestations were held at the occasion of celebrating Town’s Day and St. Euphemia. Over 900 participants competed in 18 sport disciplines and cultural-entertaining program was organized as well.

Many sports manifestations were held at the occasion of celebrating Town’s Day and St. Euphemia. Over 900 participants competed in 18 sport disciplines and cultural-entertaining program was organized as well.
At the ceremonious session of the Town Hall, plaquettes were handed to the small football league „Pino Budicin“, basketball club „Rovinj“, KUD (cultural art company) „Marco Garbin“, HVIDR-a, Elementary music school, Rovinj majorettes and Rowing club „Arupinum“.
Carlo Benussi, Tomislav Jukić, Barbara Matošović Talajić, Sergio Preden Gato, Marija Sošić and Antonio Miculian (posthumous) received Town Medals. Ivan Babić and Tomislav Savić received letters of thanks and liquor factory „Darna“ and company „CM“ received written commendations.
Festivity „RoVino“ begun in the afternoon and Town distributed free portions of anchovies to its citizens.
Local band „Le mond“ backed up by Eva Čičak was in charge of good atmosphere, followed by the great „Soulfingersi“, whose effective stage performance and selected repertoire made the audience dance. Famous Croatian funk-soul -R&B performers entertained the audience by playing music from the 60tees.
Brothers Ahmetašević Denis and Haris are also known as an entertaining band that has a great connection with the audience who had great time with the interpretation of hits such as - „Hey baby“, „Wild think“, „Keep feeling fascination“, „Memphis train“, „Nothing from nothing“, „Fever“, „Do you love me“....
