„Dušo moja“, „Jedne noći u decembru“, „Branka“, „Nekako s proljeća“, are only some of the songs in the rich repertoire of Kemal Monteno that could be heard at his solo concert on the stage Monta. After many years, Monteno sang to the accompaniment of his guitar and with two hours of live performance, reeling off one hit after another. With this performance, he re-affirmed the quality and longevity of his music.
The audience which, almost as a choir, sang all songs with or without Monteno, the ones about (un)happy love, Sarajevo or his many friends, and confirmed with loud applause that this is an exquisite songwriter.
Younger audience members loudly scanned songs „Nekako s proljeća“, „Ovako ne mogu dalje“ and „Daleko“ which Monteno usually performs in duets with Žera from the band „Crvena jabuka“, Danijela and Boris Novković, while the ''elders'' sang „Kad ja pođoh na Bembašu“ in a dignified manner and ''sotto voce''.
The most emotional moments of the concert were the ones dedicated to his friends – Arsen Dedić and Davorin Popović, who is deceased and in whose honor he sang what was once a great hit of his band called ''Indexi'', a song called „Bacila je sve niz rijeku“.
