The nineteenth year of the Sete Sòis Sete Luas Festival, i.e. its fourth occurrence in Rovinj in a row, brought a host of good music. During the first evening, the open space of the town Square saw two bands presenting themselves to Rovinj folk

While members of the Šćinka thrilled with their performance, and used different types of instruments – among which the indigenous fife (sopele), the bag-pipe (mih), different percussion instruments and the diatonal accordion caused quite an interest, the show by excellent Basques was interrupted and finally stopped short by rain. That is, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy but a few tunes performed by the popular Basques, the song of who is based on the tradition of the diatonal Basque accordion “triki”. Members of the Korrontzi, along with a host of shows throughout Europe, which include all major cities, now performed in Croatia for the first time, which makes the situation even worse, for the concert could not be held in its full length.
The Sete Sòis Sete Luas Festival was this year accompanied by a rich offer of food and drink and ethno products. Along the quay, stalls with domestic produce had been placed, so visitors had the opportunity to taste different brands of olive oil and wine by the producers gathered around the Rubinum and Vitis cooperatives, the delicatessen of producers of prosciutto Antolović and Milohanić from Tinjan, Milan Buršić from Vodnjan and the “Pisinium” from Pazin.
