The International Sound and Film Music Festival (ISFMF) will take place in Rovinj from 23 to 26 October and is one of only five such festivals in the world. The festival's mission is promoting music and sound as indispensable elements of the film, networking composers, sound masters, film makers and others from all over the world, as well as achieving a unique experience that will confirm that ‘There is no business like show business’.
This year's rich program is made up of panels and master classes, which will host a triple Oscar winner, Michael Minkler, (Star Wars, JFK, Black Hawk Down, Chicago, Inglorious Bastards, Django Unchained ...); Robert Townson, president of Varese Sarabande (Universal), the largest publishing house for film music in the world; Kyle Eastwood, who will perform a concert with music he composed for the films of his father Clint Eastwood (Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby, Changeling, Letters from Iwo Jima), Aleksandra Kovač, Zoran Predin and many other distinguished guests.
